Chapel Hill, North Carolina-based American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery elected Dr. April Armstrong president-elect. She is chair of the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

Zinnia Mayo was named community banking manager for the Littlestown office. Ginny L. Huntsberry was named community banking manager for the Spring Grove office. She is also assistant vice president and community banking manager for the East Berlin office. Beth A. Stine was named community banking manager for the South York Plaza Office. Angela J. Boswell was named community banking manager for the New Oxford office. She was community banking supervisor at the North Hanover office. Ashley L. Cooley was named community banking manager for the Arendtsville, Biglerville and Bendersville offices. She was community banking specialist for the Biglerville office. Sheila J. Venture Lititz, which supports Lititz Borough’s vibrancy, named Maria Di Stravolo Elliott president of its board. She is a partner in the real estate practice and construction industry groups of Lancaster-based Barley Snyder.

 

 

 

Health care

WellSpan Health named Patty Donley vice president for the health system and president of Lebanon-based WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She will be responsible for day-to-day operations and be the executive leader for WellSpan’s system of care in Lebanon County. She was vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at the hospital.

Derry Township-based Penn State Health named Maria Hamilton vice president of performance excellence. She was interim senior director of quality systems improvement for Penn State’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Gregory Lewis was named associate director of the Penn State Center for Biodevices. associate professor of orthopedics and rehabilitation at Penn State College of Medicine. Dr. Patrick Ma was appointed to represent the Penn State Cancer Institute on the Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium Steering Committee. He is professor of
medicine at Penn State College of Medicine and a medical oncologist specializing in thoracic oncology at Penn State Cancer Institute.

Law

Eckert Seamans named Anthony D. Cox Jr. an associate in the Harrisburg office. His practice focuses on commercial and business litigation matters, professional liability and professional and occupational licensure defense matters. He was employed with Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote P.C.

Manheim Township-based Saxton & Stump named shareholder Michael T. Traxler chair of the insurance law group. He has experience in matters involving insurance companies and insured businesses. He is also chair of the trucking and commercial transportation group.

 

 

 

Nonprofits
Lancaster-based Touchstone Foundation named Dr. Patrick Anderson, Dr. Sharee Livingston, Shaun Murphy and William Zee board members. Until retirement, Anderson was a family physician and managing physician at Lancaster General Health Physicians/Penn Medicine. He was also a U.S. Air Force flight surgeon. Livingston is chair of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at UPMC Lititz. Murphy is community programs educator with UPMC – Lititz and an adjunct instructor at Harrisburg Area Community College’s Lancaster Campus. He is an Army
veteran, veteran advocate, entrepreneur and motivational speaker. Zee is a partner with Appel, Yost, and Zee and chair of its education law group.

East Lampeter Township-based High Foundation elected Thomas T. Baldrige and Hilda Shirk trustees. Baldrige is president and CEO of the Lancaster Chamber. Shirk retired as president and CEO of Union Community Care.

 

 

Technology
Lancaster-based Cargas named Tim White director of strategic initiatives. He was a financial analyst.
