PEOPLE: promotions, appointments and hires


East Pennsboro Township-based Gannett Fleming Affiliates Inc. elected Salvatore D. Fazzolari to its board. He was chairman and CEO of Harsco Corp. He is a certified public accountant and graduate of Penn State University.

West Cornwall Township-based Steckbeck Engineering & Surveying Inc. named Scott M. Rights chief operating officer. He will oversee day-to-day operations and financials. He is a professional engineer with more than 27 years of water and wastewater consulting experience.



The Pennsylvania chapter of the Management Association for Private Photogrammetric Surveyors, or PA-MAPPS, named Rob Rowe of Rettew Associates Inc. in Centre County president, Eric Orndorff of Herbert, Rowland & Grubic Inc. in Dauphin County president-elect, Len Subick of Gamm Air Inc. in Chester County secretary and Andrew Pickford of BAE Systems in New Jersey treasurer.

Pennsylvania Association for Justice named Scott Cooper president. He is a partner with Harrisburg-based law firm SchmidtKramer.



Swatara Township-based Metro Bank named Christopher Healy a vice president and commercial loan officer with its West Shore region. He has more than 12 years of financial experience, most recently as a business banker with First National Bank. He has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Penn State University.



Lemoyne-based Eastern PCM LLC named Melanie Devorick office manager. She was a contract administrator. She has been with the company since 2005.


Economic development

Team Pennsylvania Foundation named John D. Moran Jr. private sector co-chairman. He is president and chief executive officer of Moran Industries in Northumberland County. Anthony Bartolomeo, state Sen. John Blake, David Capitano, Nicholas DeBenedictis, Nina Esposito-Visgitis, Tim Holt, Roger Richards and Stephen Tang were named to the board. Bartolomeo is president and CEO of Pennoni Associates in Philadephia; Blake represents Lackawanna County and parts of Luzerne and Monroe counties; Capitano is the Northern Pennsylvania regional managing partner with ParenteBeard LLC; DeBenedictis is chairman of Aqua America Inc. in Montgomery County; Esposito-Visgitis is with the Pittsburgh Federation of Teachers; Holt is director of corporate relations with Air Products & Chemicals Inc. in Lehigh County and president of its Air Products Foundation; Richards is president of Bliley Technologies in Erie County; and Tang is president and CEO of University City Science Center in Philadelphia.



The Pennsylvania Senate confirmed Libby A. White of Montgomery County to the State Board of Accountancy; Ann Catalano of Cumberland County to the State Board of Cosmetology; David M. Kozich of Luzerne County and Susan Whitney of Allegheny County to the State Board of Physical Therapy; Kirk D. Stoner of Cumberland County to the State Planning Board; Robb Keith of Cumberland County to the State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; Douglas A. Enders of Cumberland County to the Professional Standards and Practices Commission; Joyce Haas of Centre County and Edward L. Seebeck of Warren County to the State Real Estate Commission; George Mermon of Carbon County to the State Board of Vehicle Manufacturers, Dealers and Salespersons; and Michael T. Health care

East Hempfield Township-based Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital named David Stark vice president of finance and operations with Centerre Healthcare Corp. He was chief financial officer and assistant administrator. Todd Dieffenbach was named CFO. He has experience in acute hospital care, homecare, hospice and insurance. He also is an adjunct professor with Lebanon Valley College’s MBA program and a former field artillery officer with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Justin Snyder was named lead physical therapist. He has nine years of rehabilitation experience.


Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC elected Stephen C. Gierasch to its board. Gierasch is co-managing shareholder of the Harrisburg office and a member of the corporate section. His practice focuses on transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, dispositions, financings and shareholder issues.


Swatara Township-based JPL named Lara Colestock a branding, marketing and communications account strategist. She was a strategic planner with Neiman. Previously, she was a program coordinator and assistant traffic manager with WHP-TV 21. She has a bachelor of humanities degree in communications from Penn State University. Matthew Woods was named a digital marketing analyst and research associate. He will oversee digital marketing campaigns and market research. He has a bachelor’s degree in biological foundations of behavior, with an emphasis on marketing, from Franklin and Marshall College.



Susquehanna Township-based Volunteers of America of Pennsylvania elected John Dame and Christopher Rockey to its board. Dame owns Susquehanna Township-based Dame Management Strategies. Rockey is vice president of community development with PNC in Hampden Township.


Senior care

Manheim Township-based Mennonite Home Communities named James D. Tesche director of facilities. He will oversee departments at the Mennonite Home and Woodcrest Villa campuses. He was employed with The Hershey Co. for 22 years.



East Hempfield Township-based Kline’s Services Inc. named Brian Schreiber operations manager. He has more than 31 years of operations experience and a degree in printing from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Sandy Biss was named human resources manager. She has more than 17 years of human resources experience, a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Millersville University and a master’s degree in public administration and human resource management from Penn State Harrisburg.
