Lower Paxton Township-based Vibra Health Plan is already licensed by the state, and is applying for federal approval.

If approved, it intends to serve Medicare beneficiaries in 17 Pennsylvania counties, including many in southcentral Pennsylvania, the Lehigh Valley and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area.

Vibra Health Plan anticipates a federal decision by September.
