A familiar face will take over as general manager of The Hotel Hershey in May.
Bill Hendrix, the hotel’s assistant general manager, will assume the top spot when current general manager Brian O’Day retires at the end of April.
O’Day has led the 276-room Derry Township hotel for 14 years, according to Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Co. Hendrix has been in leadership roles at the property for more than a decade.
The Hotel Hershey was built by chocolate magnate Milton S. Hershey. The hospitality property has three restaurants, a coffee shop and poolside cafe. It also houses The Spa At The Hotel Hershey, more than 25,000 square feet of meeting space, The Shops At The Hotel Hershey and recreation offerings.
Prior to joining HE&R, Hendrix spent five years at various Ritz-Carlton properties. He also worked at various Four Seasons properties over a seven-year period.
