New brewery starts pouring on Carlisle Pike

A new brewery opens today on the Carlisle Pike in Hampden Township, Cumberland County, joining the growing craft beer scene in Central Pennsylvania.

Ever Grain Brewing Co. is operating in the new Hampden Terminal at 4444 Carlisle Pike.

The new brewery is owned by Norm Fromm and Larry Dolan. The owners were not immediately available to talk about the project, due to the grand opening today.

However, a brief statement was provided via social media that said the project has been in the works for about two years, following about a decade of discussing the idea.

Brewmaster Bruce Tanner previously worked at Troegs Brewing Co. in Derry Township, according to the brewery’s website. Ever Grain has a lineup of 10 beers on tap right now.

Ever Grain shares space with several businesses, including the area’s second Cork & Fork restaurant, which is being called Cork & Fork Osteria and is expected to open this fall. The original Cork & Fork is in downtown Harrisburg.
