The National Civil War Museum will be featured on the Food
Network’s popular reality television show “Ace of Cakes.”

The network filmed the Harrisburg
museum’s Blue & Gray Gala fundraiser in October. The episode is called
“Copper, Carbonite & Jewels.” It will air at 10 p.m. Thursday.

The show follows Charm City Cakes owner Duff Goldman.
Duffman and Charm City Cakes employees baked a cake formed after the Moment of
Mercy statue that is in front of the museum and presented it during the gala,
according to the museum. Duffman said it was one of the most unique cakes he
has ever baked and it took about 120 hours to create.

Pop singer Jewel will be on the show and a Han Solo cake
based on the “Star Wars” character also will be featured during the show.

This item was modified from its previous version to correct the spelling of Han Solo.
