Penn Hershey Moving & Storage, a subsidiary of moving company Geo. W. Weaver & Son Inc., has built a new warehouse facility in South Londonderry Township in Lebanon County to help meet growing storage demands in the Palmyra area.
The 23,000-square-foot facility is located at 201 Piper Circle in the Flightpath Sports Park, about a half-mile away from the company’s main facility on Airport Road.
“More houses are being built out there. There is big demand,” said Max Liddell, vice president of business development for Geo. W. Weaver & Son, which is based in Fairview Township.
In addition to household moving and storage services, Penn Hershey also handles corporate relocations in Dauphin and Lebanon counties.
Construction of the new warehouse took about five months. Costs were not disclosed.
H.R. Weaver Building Systems Inc., based in North Londonderry Township, oversaw the construction.
