A board director at a midstate bank sold more stock this week, while a water company board member added shares and executives at another regional bank were awarded stocks and options.
Douglas Gelder, lead independent director at Swatara Township-based Metro Bancorp Inc., sold 1,000 shares worth $25,510 last week. He followed up with a sale of 2,826 shares worth $70,233 on Tuesday, according to recent trader filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Gelder maintains 116,625 direct shares of Metro, the bank holding company of Metro Bank. Shares closed at $26.10 on Thursday.
• Steven Rasmussen, a board director at The York Water Co., purchased 28 shares for $600 on Wednesday. Rasmussen owns 405 direct shares. The stock closed at $22.53 on Thursday.
• On Tuesday, York Township-based Codorus Valley Bancorp Inc., the bank holding company for PeoplesBank, issued restricted stocks and options to nine executives.
Larry Miller, the company’s president and CEO, was awarded 3,000 restricted shares, while Michael Allen, the company’s vice president and COO, was awarded 1,000 shares with options on 3,500 additional shares.
Seven other executives were awarded 520 shares and options on 1,685 shares. Shares closed at $20.38 on Thursday.
