Midstate law firm expands ownership team

George Swatz II, Jason Imler and Mark Buterbaugh are joining founding member John Mooney III as owners of the firm.
Swatz, based in the firm’s Gettysburg office, is managing member of Mooney’s business, real estate, estate administration and general litigation sections.
Imler, based in Hanover, manages the firm’s personal injury, motor vehicle accidents and wrongful death sections.
Buterbaugh, based in Chambersburg, manages Mooney’s worker’s compensation, social security disability and premises liability sections.
Mooney founded the firm in 1997. He will continue as co-owner of the business and manager of the family, criminal bankruptcy and immigration sections.
A firm representative was not immediately available to comment Tuesday afternoon.
Mooney & Associates operates 15 offices throughout Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland.
