Mid Penn Bank seeks approval to move Camp Hill branch

Destination is former bank HQ

Mid Penn Bank is seeking approval to move its Camp Hill branch from 2101 Market St. down the block to the former Pennsylvania State Bank headquarters.

The full-service branch at 2148 Market St. will offer additional amenities for banking customers – including two drive-through lanes and a drive-through ATM – as well as offices for commercial, small business, mortgage and wealth management services, the bank said in a news release Monday.

“The new location in Camp Hill will be more convenient and accessible for our consumer, business and municipal customers,” Mid Penn Bank President and CEO Rory Ritrievi said in the release.

The building has housed several banks in recent years, including Pennsylvania State Bank, which used the site as its headquarters. PNC Bank was the most recent occupant, having run a branch there until August 2013, according to a PNC spokesperson.

The move is pending approval from the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities and Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. The bank will notify customers prior to a formal transition date.

Mid Penn’s Camp Hill branch is one of the Millersburg-based bank’s 20 retail locations in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Luzerne, Northumberland and Schuylkill counties.
