Mike Martin, a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards registered architect in more than a dozen states, serves as managing partner with overall responsibility for guiding and directing RLPS Architects. He provides leadership for planning and design of cost-effective, solutions that support the programs and missions of the organizations the firm serves.
In 2022, “clients were challenged by historically high construction costs, interest rate increases and the slowing housing market, which forced them to delay significant projects,” Martin explained. “Rather than a hardline approach to staff jobs, we invested in our employees and the future of the firm. We asked people to work in areas beyond their usual focus such as new ideas, increasing marketing and moving to construction administration. Essentially, invest in our staff today so that it will bear dividends in the future.”
