Mexican restaurant to open in downtown Lebanon

Queso Dee’as Tortilla Emporium will open in downtown Lebanon within a week, said Bob Cook, owner of the restaurant at 708 Cumberland St.

Queso Dee’as Tortilla Emporium will open in downtown Lebanon within a week, said Bob Cook, owner of the restaurant at 708 Cumberland St. Cook describes his venture as “upper-scale counter service” for Mexican cuisine. The 1,200-square-foot shop will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and seat up to 45. A lot of the business will be take-out, Cook said. Breakfast items range from banana-walnut pancakes and omelets to breakfast burritos and crepes. The lunch and dinner menu consists of Mexican and a few American foods. The prices range from $3.50 to $6.25 on most items.
