Steck focuses on insurance, health care, education and economic development issues. He joined Greenlee Partners in 1990 and has served as managing director for 20 years.

As contract lobbyists, our victories are further evidenced by the fact that we still represent the first two clients that engaged the firm in 1985. More recently, guiding this group of talented professionals through the pandemic and a firm leadership transition has shown me that we have a great group of individuals who care about the business and our clients. To me that is a real success,” Steck said.
After working three years in various staff positions in the Pennsylvania Senate, Steck became a lobbyist for an insurance producer trade association and worked in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and D.C. “That experience introduced me to a large network of legislators, regulators, and other lobbying professionals. The individuals and issues I encountered outside of Pennsylvania were a big influence on me professionally. In 1990, I took that experience to Greenlee Associates which transitioned into Greenlee Partners,” Steck said.
