Managing Partner, Harrisburg Office
Saul Ewing LLP
“In addition to a full-time litigation practice helping business clients resolve disputes in state and federal courts and administrative agencies across Pennsylvania and beyond, I manage the day-to-day law firm operations in our Harrisburg office,” said Saul Ewing’s Matthew Haar. He also works with other managers across all offices, including as a member of the firm’s Ethics Committee and Government Involvement Committee, as well as in the Insurance Industry Group and Energy Industry Group.
He said Saul Ewing, like many businesses, has been trying to find the right balance between working in person and working remotely. The firm’s 4 + 4 program encourages people to work in person at least four Wednesdays and four additional days every month. “This hybrid approach has been successful because it accommodates flexibility for remote work while creating opportunities for in-person collaboration, camaraderie and formal and informal mentoring.”
What inspires him professionally? “Without a doubt, my Saul Ewing colleagues, both in the Harrisburg office and our offices across the country. I’ve been with Saul Ewing for almost 24 years, and have had the privilege to work with a diverse group of people with a variety of interests. The people at Saul Ewing are an energetic team that works to put our clients first through our industry focus and collaborative culture.”
