A Maryland-based engineering firm with a Cumberland County office has increased its footprint in the midstate.
Frederick, Seibert and Associates Inc. announced this week that it has acquired Madden Engineering Services Inc. of Shermans Dale in Perry County.
FSA, which has offices in Hagerstown, Md., Carlisle and Greencastle, Franklin County, said the merger advances the company’s goal of increasing its municipal engineering work and expanding its services to clients throughout Central Pennsylvania and beyond.
The company specializes in civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture and land planning services.
FSA will retain engineer John Madden and his staff, as well as the Perry County firm’s office. In addition to Maryland and Pennsylvania, FSA also serves clients in Virginia and West Virginia.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
