Supervising Judge of Criminal Court, York County Court of Common Pleas
A member of the York County bench for 15 1/2 years, Cook has served as president judge since January 2021 and as supervising judge of criminal court since January 2020.
She is responsible for overseeing the York County Courts’ administrative operations, including the common pleas judges, magisterial district courts and court employees. And in addition to her role as criminal court supervisor, Cook has a caseload in the criminal division where she presides over criminal matters from arraignment through sentencing.
Her career highlights include being the first woman to be elected by her colleagues as York County president judge.
In her free time, Cook said she loves to travel and “see new places to expand my awareness of other cultures. I like to read, walk and do paper and needle crafts to relax.”
