A member of Barley Synder’s Real Estate Practice Group, Maria Di Stravolo Elliott helps developers, owners, contractors and individuals with their real estate and construction transactions.
In her legal practice, Elliott has been recognized as a fellow at the Construction Lawyers Society of America and is a go-to source for legal counsel in real estate and construction for businesses across Central Pennsylvania. The Construction Lawyers Society is an invitation-only honorary association composed of preeminent lawyers in that specialty.
“Her work has often been thankless, but her influence on me and my colleagues has been profound. Her skills, knowledge and willingness to help others is unparalleled,” Abby Tucker, counsel at Barley Snyder, says in discussing Elliott’s mentoring efforts.
She also is president of the board of directors at Venture Lititz and is a development committee member of the Lititz Rec Center.
Elliott cites as her most significant professional accomplishment passing two different bar exams as a working mother.
“I would work in the morning, take bar exam classes in the afternoon and study in the evenings while nursing a 4-month-old baby for the Illinois Bar, and then four years later with two toddlers for the Pennsylvania Bar,” she says.
