El Harrak said as a federally qualified health center CEO, she is first and foremost a voice and a change agent for the most vulnerable in the community. She is responsible for the successful achievement of the organization’s mission and strategic initiatives, by optimizing its human and financial capital to improve the health of the community.
She has served in various leadership positions at Sadler Health Center for six years and has served as CEO for two years. El Harrak is very proud of Sadler’s public health response during the pandemic.
“We have served as a shock absorber and a solution for community members, healthcare partners and patients alike.
We addressed our community’s needs holistically and equitably, from providing food to the food insecure, to providing mental support and access to affordable services,” she said. The most important life lesson she’s learned: To believe in the power of people coming together to support a great cause and revolve around a mission.
“Every day, I get to witness our team members go above and beyond to help those most in need. I admire their dedication and commitment; it makes everything possible. Our people are our greatest asset,” she said. She enjoys spending time with her daughters, and traveling with them. “It gives me a renewed strength, and motivates me to make tomorrow better and brighter for the future generations,” El Harrak said.
