El Harrak has served in various leadership positions at Sadler Health Center for seven years and has served as CEO for two years.
Leading and optimizing the work of the center’s talented team to achieve the mission of the organization and fill the critical need of the underserved population is very rewarding to her.
“It’s also rewarding to be able to serve the most vulnerable in the community, and shifting Sadler’s impact from being a health care provider to being a community caregiver, assessing and assisting patients for food security, housing security, transportation and economic stability,” El Harak said.
The health care industry is constantly changing, and the COVID-19 pandemic has further accelerated the change, according to El Harak.
“These changes require of us as health care organizations to be nimble and build agility into our processes and decision making,” she said. “Health care policy, cultural shifts, workforce shortages, and technological advancements are a few of the areas where as a health care leader I feel the most impact.”
