As Boyer & Ritter’s new COO, a position she has held for six months, Lisa Myers said she helps ensure the efficient operation of the firm’s daily activities “like administration, HR, information technology, marketing, business development and facilities. I work closely with the CEO on strategic planning, firm-wide initiatives, policies, problem solving and decision making. As a principal and chair of the firm’s Advisory Services practice group, I help to support firm revenue streams and lead our professionals to provide exceptional client service.”
Myers said her first special project as COO “was to modernize our firm’s tax prep processes by maximizing AI opportunities and big data.”
“I led a Tax Process Task Force of internal process owners and subject matter experts,” said Myers. “In just four months, the task force evaluated, developed and documented new processes; upgraded and adopted new software; and created an implementation plan including training for the entire firm before the heart of tax busy season.
