LG Health opens Ephrata Urgent Care center

The Ephrata Urgent Care center will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekends. It is at 895 E. Main St. in Ephrata Township, just off the Route 222 exit.
The center provides laboratory, X-ray and EKG services, as well as treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, and it will offer occupational medicine beginning this fall, LG Health said.
Smilebuilderz plans to open an urgent care dental office next door by the end of the year, LG Health said.
Ephrata is the health system’s second urgent care center. The first opened in 2010 in East Hempfield Township near LG Health’s Women & Babies Hospital.
