To recognize Community Banking Month, we set up a little something special this week.
Jill Castilla, one of the leading community banking advocates in the country, was in town this week to speak at a Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers marketing conference. So before she made her speech there, we put her to work in a Twitter chat Wednesday.
Castilla is the president and CEO of Citizens Bank of Edmond, Okla., a two-branch community bank with about $250 million in assets. She also is one of the leading social media influencers for community banking, and Citizens is doing some fun stuff with social media. You’ll see that in the Storify recap of the chat.
And I’m going to make her answer for her dance moves. Not that I’m one to talk — but at least you also won’t find a YouTube clip of me trying. Not that I know of, at least. Please don’t search for it, just in case.
The recap gets a little long, but there is a call to local action down there at the end. Make sure you get that far and consider it, please.
