Lemoyne remodeling business closes, auction on tap

A longtime Cumberland County kitchen-remodeling company has closed its doors and a public auction is scheduled for next week.

Lemoyne-based Ed Lank Kitchens & Baths, which was founded in 1964, abruptly closed this month. Officials have been unavailable for comment.

The phone number for Ed Lank still has an active voicemail that references business hours, but the company’s website is no longer operational. And the last post on the company’s Facebook page was in August.

A public auction sign has been posted outside of the business at 313 Market St. The liquidation sale is slated to be held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 24. It will include new appliances, cabinets, tools and entire kitchens, as well as other showroom materials and office equipment.

Auctioneer Chuck Bricker of Silver Spring Township will run the auction.
