Lebanon’s Good Samaritan Hospital branded as WellSpan

Good Samaritan joined WellSpan Health on July 1, and the partnership continues to make strides in the county.
Most recently, the health system announced a partnership with urgent care chain Urgent Care MSO LLC, which operates as MedExpress Urgent Care.
Under the partnership, patients who visit the MedExpress location in the county will be able to receive coordinated follow-up care at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital and WellSpan Orthopedics.
WellSpan Orthopedics, previously known as Lebanon Orthopedic Associates, joined WellSpan in September, making it the first independent physician group to formally align with WellSpan in Lebanon.
“This is an exciting time,” said Bob Longo, senior vice president of WellSpan Health and president of WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. “In WellSpan, we found a partner who truly believes in building and enhancing local, community-based systems of care. So it’s fitting that our newly aligned identity honors the strengths of Good Samaritan while also reflecting our bright future as part of WellSpan.”
Brand alignment of the organization’s outpatient centers, physician practices and other services is planned for the coming months.
