The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry has appointed Scott Burky to serve as its chief revenue officer – a new position at the chamber.

Burky will be responsible for revenue-related activities designed to grow the organization; developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies; and assisting with the overall strategy and direction for the chamber.

“We are thrilled to have someone with Scott’s background in developing customer-centric, relationship-based growth and focused on creating value for our investors,” Tom Baldrige, president and CEO of the Lancaster Chamber, said in a statement.

Most recently, Burky was chief transformation architect for E4 Strategic Consultancy. Before that, he was COO for Lancaster-based Rhoads Energy Corp.

Burky currently is a member of the Penn State Health St. Joseph Hospital Foundation board and the Reading Public Library Foundation board. He also volunteers for the United Way of Lancaster County.
