Lampert reveals plans for Sears after bankruptcy: WSJ

Sears Holdings Corp will sell or sublease some of the 425 stores of the retail chain and open smaller stores with more focus on tools and appliances than on apparel, Reuters reported on Wednesday.

The report detailed Sears chairman Eddie Lampert’s interview with the Wall Street Journal.

One such smaller, appliance-focused Sears store opened at the Capital City Mall in Lower Allen Township in November 2017 on the site of a former Sears department store.
