Kurt Trimarchi
Partner
McKonly & Asbury LLP
Trimarchi leads the firm’s largest family-owned business relationships; providing strategic advice to meet their needs. He’s had the opportunity to serve clients in a variety of industries such as family business, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and financial services and to bring tax value ideas and strategies to help maximize overall tax savings for those clients.
He’s been with McKonly & Asbury since 2003 and has over20 years of broad domestic and international tax experience.
He said his position has allowed him to help clients and families grow their respective businesses, and then assist them when they are ready to transfer the business to next generation in a manner that is rewarding to them. “It is a privilege to be a partner to these businesses,” Trimarchi said.
A motto he tries to live by is to treat people with respect, regardless of the situation.” It is important to keep in mind, no matter the short-term outcome of those interactions, you will always win the long game by treating people the right way,” he said.
Coaching youth football is one of his favorite things. “I love the game of football and the strategy behind it. I also enjoy developing young men to be better players, teammates, and hopefully individuals. It’s always great to run into a former player and have them still call you coach,” Trimarchi said.
