Kohl’s Corp. has filed a building permit with West Manchester
Township, York County,
that would result in a roughly $2 million investment in the West Manchester
Mall, said Kelly Kelch, township manager.
The Wisconsin-based retailer filed the permit Nov. 11. It
includes plans to renovate the 80,200-square-foot space formerly occupied by
Value City Furniture and to build a 7,000-square-foot addition, Kelch said.
The township will review the permit and make a decision
within the next month. Once the permit is approved, renovations can begin, he
said.
Kohl’s operates seven stores in Central Pennsylvania,
including two stores in York
County.
