Managing Director
K2 Kinetics
Managing director of K2 Kinetics, an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Case Packing and Palletizing equipment for the food and beverage industries. Kevin Keller founded the business 11 years ago.
As a leader, he is actively engaged. “I personally have a passion for learning, which fits well into our technical business. Over the years I have been able to build a team of people smarter than myself, which is the foundation of our success. Being an active leader and constant pupil, I am still just as passionate as ever when I can get directly involved with my team and support them.”
While many engineers were being hired out of college to get into the defense industry, Keller took the route of factory automation within the consumer packaged goods sector. “The first of those companies was a family business that taught me a lot about the commercial and sales side. I then moved into a larger corporate setting that helped me expand my knowledge on a global stage. I left that company after realizing I was meant to run my own business; I then bootstrapped K2 Kinetics in 2011.”
Keller said he doesn’t have much room in his life for hobbies. “When not working, I spend my spare time with my amazing and supportive wife, Rebecca, and two children, Mason and Katherine. Rebecca and I have started a nonprofit in the past few years focused on raising awareness for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a rare disease that … Mason was diagnosed with in 2017. The nonprofit is growing and we are working to support the families of boys with Duchenne that may not have certain means.”
