Shrewsbury-based Keller-Brown Insurance is buying H. N. Fishel and Associates Inc. of Red Lion.
The two insurance businesses announced the purchase Monday, with Keller-Brown’s leadership saying the acquisition will help the company increase its footprint in the “demographically attractive South Central Pennsylvania region.”
“We are pleased to welcome Fishel’s professional staff and clients to our agency,” Joy Keller-Brown, Keller-Brown’s president, said in Monday’s news release. “Customers of both agencies will now have access to a broad range of personal and commercial insurance services, financial services, and an expanded selection of electronic insurance capabilities.”
Keller-Brown is an independent insurance agency with one office in Shrewsbury. It offers a range of insurance for personal, business, agribusiness and other customers. H.N. Fishel is also independently owned, and its website lists offerings like vehicle, property, business and personal umbrella insurance.
“We are eagerly anticipating becoming part of Keller-Brown and looking forward to providing greater convenience and services to our new and existing customers along with maintaining the family atmosphere and excellent customer service they have come to know,” H. N. Fishel and Associates president Evans Fishel said in Monday’s release.
The transaction, approved by owners of both agencies, is expected to be completed next week. The purchase price was not disclosed in Monday’s news release.
