Katia M. Frock has found a home in Harrisburg, and that means a lot to the former Army brat.
By her own estimation, the director of PFM Asset Management in Harrisburg moved over 20 times by the age of 21. That instilled a willingness to try new things that has helped her professionally.
“I think my persistence, positivity and my openness to change has helped me excel in my career,” she says. “I have always believed that we need to strive to make things better for those who come after us.”
“[Frock is always] willing to take on a new job, always completes the job on time and above exceptions,” says PFM senior managing consultant Paul Robinson in his nomination letter. “[She] always has a great attitude, that attitude rubs off on the team.”
She has spent her career with PFM, assuming the role of director in 2020 after a stint as a senior managing consultant for the firm.
Beyond the office, Frock has volunteered with the Cumberland Valley Youth Rugby Association, Cumberland Valley Softball Association and Junior Achievement of South Central Pennsylvania.
“I try to help where I can. I feel like youth sports are never lacking in need for volunteers,” she says. “I believe that my voice matters, and I think I have helped elevate others to help them achieve their goals.
“I also hope that what I have been able to accomplish can serve as inspiration for others.”
