Karen Groh
President and CEO
Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce
As the chamber’s president and CEO, Groh provides oversight and direction of the organization’s programming, finances, staff, and community outreach. This includes heavy involvement with local, regional, and state agencies as well as deep connections to Lebanon Valley businesses, especially within our membership base. “Every day is different as I interact with sole proprietors, large employers, and community partners, working together to make the Lebanon Valley a stronger place to do business,” she says.
She has served as president and CEO for six years.
The COVID Omicron variant prohibited many gatherings at the beginning or the year. Groh says chamber programming is critical for impacting members, and workforce issues impeded the operation of many businesses. “Luckily, Omicron slowed, and we were able to execute a year’s worth of workshops, programs, and events to connect businesses to valuable resources. We hired a director of workforce and education to understand and influence issues within our control. We ended the year strong and look forward to 2023,” Groh says.
