Jonestown Bank and Trust Co. announced it hopes to open a branch at active senior living center Cornwall Manor in Cornwall this year.
While the branch opening would still need regulatory approval, the two sides have agreed to place a Jonestown Bank branch in the active senior living facility.
An opening date has not be determined.
This is the second Jonestown branch that will be in a senior facility, as it operates one in the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home in North Londonderry Township.
Ed Martel, Jonestown’s senior vice president of sales, marketing and branch administration, said there had been a Wells Fargo branch at Cornwall Manor, but it closed in 2014.
It will be a full-service branch on Cornwall Manor’s 190-acre campus, according to a news release. It services will be open primarily to Cornwall Manor residents and staff.
The development has homes and apartments and provides healthcare to active-lifestyle residents.
Jonestown currently operates 10 offices in Lebanon and Lancaster counties and has more than $450 million in assets.
