Robinson has served one year in his current position.
He describes his leadership style as hands-on, supportive, approachable and available. He said it has impacted S&T Bank and the region he serves by showing his dedication and passion for growing team members’ skills and increasing their knowledge to better serve the bank’s customers financial needs. “My team knows that they can always reach out to me, and I will be there to guide them and help support in any way I can,” he said.
After graduating from Muhlenberg College in 2006, he said he followed in his father’s footsteps. “My father is in the financial industry, and I have always admired the work that he did. There is nothing better than helping customers achieve their financial goals in life, such as their first mortgage, retirement planning, or starting their own business. It is extremely rewarding, and you feel the impact you have on their lives,” Robinson said.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Andrea, and his two boys—Cody, age 7, and Reed, age 4. “We don’t have much downtime with all of their sporting events. I spend much of my free time on the field coaching their baseball, lacrosse and football teams. Our lives can be hectic at times, but watching them have fun playing sports is the best,” Robinson said.
