Delaware-based Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, a growing craft brewery and restaurant chain, is planning a November opening as part of the Hershey Towne Square development in Derry Township.

Iron Hill announced plans in March to be the lead tenant in the commercial project along West Chocolate Avenue. Construction is nearly complete on the 9,000-square-foot space. Brewery equipment was installed this week.

The company plans to brew six signature beers and 50 to 60 seasonal beers throughout the year, including Belgians, German lagers and American styles. Iron Hill hopes to produce 800 to 900 barrels of beer annually at the Derry Township location, which will be its 16th location and 10th in Pennsylvania.

Wormleysburg-based RVG Management & Development Co. is the developer of the $25 million Hershey Towne Square project. Other tenants have started to open, including Pittsburgh-based sandwich chain Primanti Bros.

The development includes about 32,000 square feet of new buildings dedicated for shops and restaurants and about 60,000 square feet of renovated office space in the rear.

In addition to Iron Hill and Primanti Bros, the retail center includes a Jersey Mike’s Subs shop. Other tenants include Iron Valley Real Estate, Great Clips, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Starbucks, T-Mobile, Happy Nails & Spa, Three Little Birds Boutique, Beef Jerky Outlet, the U.S. Post Office and Freshido, a fast-casual Asian restaurant that opened last year in downtown Harrisburg.
