It’s a good thing these companies and professionals build

The Home Builders Association (HBA) of Metropolitan
Harrisburg recently recognized its members who competed in its 15th annual
Pyramid Awards program. About 300 people attended the awards banquet May 9 at
the Radisson Penn
Harris Hotel
and Convention Center in East
Pennsboro Township.
The National Association of Home Builders runs the program countrywide to
recognize builders, re-modelers, sellers and marketers of homes who succeeded
the previous year.

Roland Builder Inc. of the Mechanicsburg area is the builder
that won the most awards, 12. Excel Interior Concepts of Lemoyne and Demiler
& Sons Construction of Swatara Township are the re-modelers that netted the
most prizes, six and five, respectively.

On the high end, Heritage Builders of West Hanover Township
took awards for Best Custom Home of the Year Over $2,000,001; Best Residential
Addition Over $3,000,000; and Best Residential Addition Over $2,000,000.

A number of businesspeople won, as well.

HBA has 1,100 members in Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties,
primarily builders and re-modelers, said Kay Glass, who handles public
relations for the group.
