Emerging companies looking for funding have a chance to hit a home run during Idea Pitch! 2007.
The event is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. Aug. 29 at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster. The entrepreneurship committee of the Economic Development Company of Lancaster Countys LancasterProspers program is organizing the get-together.
Several early-stage companies will have the opportunity to make short presentations to angel investors, venture capitalists and investment bankers. Representatives of other companies can attend the meeting, even if they are not prepared to make presentations, said Ira Wolfe, who heads the entrepreneurship committee.
