A 12-story parking garage will open Oct. 19 at 200 South St. in Harrisburg.
Hampden Township-based Pyramid Construction Services Inc. is building the $14.2 million garage for the Harrisburg Parking Authority. Pyramid broke ground on the project in March 2006.
The public garage will add 763 parking spaces to the city, said Larry W. Forbes, project manager for the Cumberland County construction company.
