The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Philadelphia office, which serves the 40 counties of eastern Pennsylvania, announced its Small Business Week award winners April 24.
Sam Coyl, president of Cumberland County-based Netrepid Inc., was named veteran small-business person of the year. Char Magaro, owner of Char’s — Tracy Mansion restaurant in Harrisburg, was named woman-owned small business of the year.
The awards will be presented June 12 at the annual “SBA Day at the Ballpark” event in Philadelphia.
The SBA’s National Small Business Week celebration takes place May 12-16.
