Greenworks Development.

Harrisburg
urban developer Powers & Associates has rebranded itself and is now
Greenworks Development.

The new name better reflects the company’s commitment to the
environment in its development work, said company co-owner Doug Neidich in a
statement.

Greenworks will retain the company’s nine full-time
employees and will continue projects undertaken by Powers & Associates.
Greenworks will remain based on North
Front Street in Harrisburg.

Often rehabilitating structures, Powers & Associates
focused on revitalization in urban areas. The developer has worked in areas
including Carlisle, Steelton and is leading a revitalization effort in Harrisburg’s midtown
section.

Greenworks is developing a 75,000-square-foot green office
and retail building called Campus
Square on the opposite corner of the Evangelical
Press
building at North Third and Reily streets.

Campus Square will boast 48 geothermal wells that will be
used to heat and cool the building, and a large solar collection installation
will go on the building’s roof to capture energy that will be used for lighting
and other systems in the building, according to Greenworks.
