Despite 6.2 percent growth in gross table games revenue, Pennsylvania casinos failed to beat the 2012 mark for total gaming revenue last year, according to annual figures from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Total revenue came in at $3.11 billion in 2013, which was down just over 1 percent from the 2012 total of $3.16 billion.
Casino revenue has topped $3 billion for three straight years.
The addition of table games in July 2010 has played a major role in that. Last year, table games accounted for $729.8 million in gross revenue.
For just the month of December, table games revenue was down 2.3 percent to $59 million, according to the board.
East Hanover Township-based Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course posted December table games revenue of $2.83 million compared with $3.24 million in December 2012.
Slot-machine revenue at Hollywood totaled $230.3 million in 2013. That was down 5.6 percent from 2012.
