The Lebanon Valley Economic Development Corp. has repaid a $1.5 million bank loan.
The tax-increment-financing loan from the Jackson Township Industrial Development Authority was repaid with a portion of tax payments from companies locating in the Northport Business Park. As a result, an action to terminate the Northport tax-increment-financing district has been initiated.
The district was established in 1999 to fund public-infrastructure construction in the 132-acre business park in Union Township. Occupants at the park include Ingram Micro Inc. and Lebanon Valley Farmers Bank.
