The Residence Inn by Marriott in Swatara Township, Dauphin County, has begun a 42-room expansion.
Construction began in May and is scheduled to wrap up in December, said Esther Knight, director of sales for the hotel. The 33,000-square-foot addition will have three floors and sit beside the hotel.
The hotel is also building an indoor pool and workout facility as a part of the project. Knight would not reveal the expansion cost.
