The Lancaster Area Habitat for Humanity awarded The High
Cos. its annual Friend-of-Habitat Award.
Habitat recognized The Lancaster County group of companies
last month at its 22nd annual Celebration Dinner. The High Cos. includes real
estate development and construction companies.
High sponsored two of the eight townhouses Habitat is
constructing on South Queen Street
in Lancaster,
according to Habitat. High contributed $100,000 toward the construction of the
two houses, said Robin D. Stauffer, executive director of The High Foundation.
High employees also gave construction advice and have helped
construct the $1.4 million project, according to Habitat.
