Google Maps, the address, directions and mapping functions of the
Internet search engine, now include interactive tours of Dauphin County
landmarks Hotel Hershey and Hersheypark.
Google staff photographed the properties over eight hours in June using special lenses to capture a 360-degree view of the amusement park and hotel, said Kathy Burrows, a spokeswoman for Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Co., parent company of the businesses.
The tours will help guests familiarize themselves with the Hershey Entertainment attractions before visiting, the company said in a news release.
Hershey Entertainment owns and operates multiple businesses in Central Pennsylvania, including the Giant Center, ZooAmerica, Hersheypark Stadium and the Hershey Bears hockey team in Derry Township, and Dutch Wonderland in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County.
