The owners of a Manheim Township-based interior-decorating business announced Feb. 11 that they will move the company to Lancaster.
Bed & Bath Affair opened 30 years ago. It will move near mid-March to a 3,000-square-foot showroom at 641 Harrisburg Ave. as a part of College Row at Franklin & Marshall College.
The move from the 2,500-square-foot facility also signifies a change of ownership for the store. Cynthia Omensky is handing the business over to her daughter, Wendy Dowling.
Bed & Bath Affair is joining two other tenants at College Row: Filling's, a clothing store, and Iron Hill Brewery, a restaurant.
College Row is a $30 million mixed-use complex under construction at F&M. It is being developed by Philadelphia-based Campus Apartments Inc. The project will include 150,000 square feet of residential space for the college's students and 50,000 square feet of retail space.
