Dogwood Acres Campground in Upper Frankford Township again was named one of the best campgrounds in the nation, according to a fourth annual consumer satisfaction survey done by GuestRated.com.
The Cumberland County facility was named an A-rated campground in each of the four years.
The results were announced Dec. 2 during the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds’ annual Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo. More than 30,000 camping and RV enthusiasts participated in the survey, which evaluated guest experiences at affiliated campgrounds, RV parks and resorts.
Dogwood Acres was one of 10 Pennsylvania campgrounds and one of 44 in the nation to earn the top rating. Gettysburg Campground in Adams County also made the list.
