County is about to get an
influx of precious metals.

A car show will bring more than 4,000 vehicles worth as much
as $120 million combined into the county
June 6-8, according to
the Tennessee-based National Street Rod Association.

The association is hosting one of its major car competitions
in York County for the 28th consecutive year,
according to a statement from the York County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Cars will be on display at the York
Expo Center
starting at 8:30 a.m. each day. The average vehicle at the event will be worth
$28,000, according to the association. Admission is $14 for adults, $5 for
children ages 6 to 12, and free for children under six.

The cars are not the only valuables coming into the county.
The visitors bureau estimates the event will have an economic impact of $7
million.
