hired former Harrisburg Senators Baseball Club assistant general manager Mark
Mattern as the organization’s director of development.

Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area recently
hired former Harrisburg Senators Baseball Club assistant general manager Mark
Mattern as the organization’s director of development.

Mattern will direct fundraising, media and community
relations for Habitat, which is an ecumenical ministry that works to eliminate
poverty housing. Mattern is also leading the redevelopment of the
organization’s Web site, he said.

Mattern spent 21 years with the Senators. He directed media
relations, publications, marketing sales and charity events for the team. He
also broadcast more than 2,500 games on Senators’ radio.

Mattern left the Senators last October, he said.
