HealthSouth Diagnostic Center of Lancaster has a new owner and a new name.
The imaging center, at 213 College Ave., is now Diagnostic Health of Lancaster. The business is part of a new company, Diagnostic Health Corp., which runs 53 diagnostic-imaging centers in 19 states and the District of Columbia.
Diagnostic Health Corp. was created by The Gores Group, a private-equity firm with offices in Boulder, Colo., London and Los Angles. The Gores Group agreed to buy the diagnostic division of Birmingham, Ala.-based HealthSouth Corp. in April. The $47.5 million deal closed Tuesday, according to The Gores Group.
